Our Story

At Seminar 2006, less than six weeks after beginning her Mary Kay career, Kristin Sharpe felt a calling on her life to serve & lead women as a top achiever and continue on her mother's NSD legacy. Eight years later, Kristin began a new generation of keeping Mary Kay Ash's dream alive as the Sharpe National Area debuted at Seminar. The Sharpe Area has achieved Gold Circle every year since it's start and was recently ranked #9 in the 2025 Diamond Seminar and #38 in the nation.

The Anchor is the Sharpe National Area symbol, symbolic of the Cross on the Rocker of Life. It represents hope, steadfastness, and security, and is a reminder to be anchored in your faith. The Sharpe Anchor Pin is not only an outward celebration of a Consultant's retail sales or team-building achievements, but also a visual reminder that love & safety can be found in Jesus Christ.
