Kristin Sharpe grew up in a Mary Kay household as the daughter of Senior National Sales Director Emeritus Connie Kittson. The experiences she had growing up prepared her for her first job out of college: working as a National Leadership Consultant for author and speaker, John C. Maxwell. It was there that she learned business skills, people skills, money skills, and — most importantly — life skills from growing up pink! Working with the Maxwell organization helped her gain the perspective about what an incredible opportunity having a Mary Kay business really is. "I realized that no matter how much I admired my boss or the company I worked for, I was always going to be working for someone else," says Kristin. That's when she decided to pursue the Mary Kay business opportunity and become her own boss!

Kristin started her Mary Kay career in June 2006. Two weeks later, she earned her first Red Jacket. That first month, her team's production was over $20,000 retail. Within three months, she earned the use of her very first Mary Kay career car, and the next month she became an Independent Sales Director! At 25 years old and single, Kristin was able to live solely off her Mary Kay income. She knew that this opportunity worked, but that it also took work.

Kristin earned three cars in her first year in the business. She also broke a company record by achieving a Triple Star — Queen's Court of Sales, Queen's Court of Sharing, and $300,000 Circle of Achievement — in less than nine months with the company. In September 2011, she was honored to be selected as Miss Go-Give, the most coveted award in Mary Kay. In 2012, just six years after beginning her career, Kristin was named the Diamond Seminar's Queen of Sharing. She was recognized as the #1 Director worldwide in 2014, reaching over $1.25 million in Unit Retail Sales. 

In July 2014, eight years after beginning her career, Kristin debuted as a National Sales Director and the Sharpe National Area was born. Her area, that spans the United States and Canada, has earned a Gold Circle nine times. Her personal unit, the YES! Unit, is a ten-time Million Dollar Unit and has earned a Circle of Achievement every year since 2006. Internationally, she has taught for MK United Kingdom, MK Asia Pacific, MK Canada, and was the guest NSD trainer at the China Leadership Conference for over 24,000 Directors! Most recently, she was the guest NSD trainer for the Czech & Slovakia Virtual Seminar. 

Kristin’s driving force is to ignite hope, because she knows this business not only enriches women’s lives — it affects families. She and her mom, Connie Kittson, are proud to be the 10th Mother Daughter NSD Team in the company's history. She lives in Gainesville, GA, with her husband, Dr. Courtney Sharpe, son Luke, daughter Lily, and is currently driving her 11th career car — the beautiful pink Cadillac Escalade. Mary Kay has allowed Kristin to pass on her mom’s legacy and be a part of the next generation that keeps Mary Kay Ash’s dream alive.
